    Machias - Nakashima Barn Moderate Ride

    Please RSVP with the new "Register" feature in the ride posting on the website Calendar page by 8 PM evening before the ride if you intend to go. 

     Group sizes are limited to 5 people including the Ride Leader.  

    Additional Ride Leaders welcome - notify Rick Proctor.

    Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph)

    Meet at 9:45 AM for a 10:00 AM roll out at Machias TrailHead on the Centennial Trail.  Restrooms expected to be open.

    We'll ride the Centennial Trail at the most colorful time of year from Machias to the Nakashima Barn (a.k.a. "red" barn) for a picnic lunch then return with side trips in Arlington and a covered bridge near Lake Stevens. Bring water and picnic lunch.

    51 low stress miles, A terrain with 1,300 feet of elevation gain. Frequent regroups.
