Camano Island

Camano is called the "easy island" because you can drive right on - no ferry needed. Camano Island is:

• In the rain shadow = more sun, less rain. See the local weather forecast.
• Full of history, from Native American sites to the lumber yards and Ladies Aid of Utsalady Bay , to the family resort now Cama Beach State Park (where McClinchy riders have a rest stop)
• Hilly! Be prepared for a challenging ride that will feel harder than the miles suggest.

If you ride the McClinchy Camano century or metric routes (103 or 65 miles), you will bike the entire perimeter of Camano Island. It's beautiful, and great bragging rights.

• Two state parks and many county parks on the water or in the woods.
• Coffee shop, bakery, art and more at Camano Commons 
• Local artists and art galleries. Check out the Studio Tour a few weeks after McClinchy.

Local Lodging

Accommodations on the island are limited, but Visit Stanwood Camano has a list of local lodging options. Lodging within 20 minutes of the Stanwood start is also provided by Angel of the Winds Casino Resort, in the Arlington, Mount Vernon and Marysville area.
