The McClinchy Mile Moderate Metric Century Plus ride will be shortened due to excessive heat warnings for Sunday, with afternoon temperature into the 90sF for the region.  To reduce the heat exhaustion / heat stroke potential the Camano Island half of the ride will be eliminated to shorten the ride and elevation gain so we can finish midday before the worst of the heat.

The ride will now be from Arlington Haller Park (restrooms open) to Stanwood Heritage Park (restrooms open) remains the same and the return from Stanwood to Arlington remains the same for 34.1 miles and 964 feet of gain (A/B terrain) at a moderate pace (14 - 16 mph).  Optional lunch stop in Arlington (Nutty's Junkyard Grill?) during the return about 1.5 miles from the finish.

Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9 AM rollout at Haller Park in Arlington.

Please confirm your RSVP with the Ride Leader by text or e-mail by 8 PM evening before the ride if you intend to go.

Group sizes are limited to 5 people including the Ride Leader.

Ride Leader: Rick Proctor, BikeHound@comcast.net, 425-293-3153.
