    Gather at 9:45 for a 10:00 start at Legion Park in north Everett, near the bathrooms. 26 miles, the route more or less like this one :   https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31346320

    B terrain, 12-14 mph pace with regroups, lunch stop near the end of the ride in Everett-bring a lock. It's supposed to be rather chilly - wear your woolies ; )

    I just sent Dan an email asking about the route which seems to use the bike lane on Hwy 2 which I think may be blocked by the heavy equipment working on removing the woody debris up against the bridge posts.  Is that what you were concerned about Raquel?

    I just called WA DOT and they report that the bike lane is open but they cannot confirm whether or not it free of debris.

    I am more concerned about riding Hwy 2 (miles 7.5 - 9). I'm not aware of any bike lane there, just a shoulder..  I heard about the log jam too.  Hope the affected section is free of debris and rideable.

    We are under the trestle, then using a small underpass to join the wi-ide shoulder of Hwy. 2 until we exit at Bickford Avenue. It’s noisy but you’re well away from traffic. If there’s too much debris under the trestle, we’ll reboot and do something else.
