This ride is this Thursday, April 25, 9:30 a.m. start. Start/Finish is at Thornton A. Sullivan Park on the west side of Silver Lake.

Big Loop 42 is a little longer loop with a little more elevation gain than we're used to. We'll head south past Martha Lake, through Alderwood Manor, UW-Bothell, Woodinville, Maltby, Lost Lake, Cathcart, up Broadway Ave/Lowell Larimer Rd, then back to Thornton A. Sullivan Park. There will be 3 or 4 opportunities for restrooms along the way. One mid-point rest stop is planned for Maltby by a coffee stand. Bring a snack or get hot coffee and pastry at the coffee stand.

Ride: Moderately brisk (14-18 mph, per the group dynamic), 42 miles, 2,800 elevation gain (with a couple short steep sections - bring your low gears).
