Meet at 10:15 for a 10:30 start at the Ballard Fred Meyer near the Burke Gilman trail and 45th Street.  (alternately, you could park at Gas Works and bike the 2 miles up to Fred Meyer).  

I am "colluding" with Larry and Joanne Kennedy in this exploration of the trail system in the Seattle area, including Lake Union, Ballard and possibly out to Discovery Park.  No route map for this ride, as we are "exploring" and route may take different turns and directions depending on the group and the how the day unfolds, so prepare for the unknown!  I expect we will be riding between 25 and 30 miles.  Probably A and some B terrain. Ride will be mostly on dedicated bike trail, with very little street riding, if any.  Steady Pace, 12-14 mph on the flats.  

After riding, there will be an optional meet up at the Pono's on Shilshole Avenue. Pono Ranch Restaurant and Bar
