Saturday, June 30th, BIKES Hidden Gem Moderate Test Ride

Ride plan has been shortened to 22 miles, 700 feet of elevation gain, to hopefully finish before the rain moves in.

Meet across the street from the Everett Station (3201 Smith Ave, Everett, WA 98201) at 9:45 am for sign-in and info for a 10 am departure. Be aware of signed restricted parking areas. There are restrooms and water in Everett Station.

22 miles at a lower end of the range of a moderate pace (14 – 16 mph on level, no wind, slower on hills). 700 feet of elevation gain on A & B terrain (mostly flat with some rolling hills). Loop ride on roads and parts of the Centennial Trail through Snohomish River valley and communities of Snohomish, Machias, and Lake Stevens. Brief restroom stops with water. Bring your own snacks. Ride leader Rick Proctor 425-293-3153, BikeHound@comcast.net. Showers are forecast, be prepared. Steady rain cancels. Check BIKES Ride Updates page or call/text if in doubt.
