Congressman Rick Larsen, D-2nd District, is home from the other Washington and wants to go on a bike ride - and hear from constituents about the value of investing in bicycling and trails. Meet at 9 a.m. at Legion Park visitors center in downtown Arlington for a ride up and down the Centennial Trail.
Come share your thoughts with a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on the benefits of biking for health, local economies, and Snohomish County in general. The ride is being coordinated by Washington Bikes.
Distance: however far we can get and be back to Arlington by 11 a.m. - probably miles to the Nakashima Barn and back. Pace: Very social, with stops to talk about issues and ideas.
