First and foremost we don't want to take riders away from the Pedal Pushers ride. But...

OK, here it is...We already had reservations at Bayview State Park for camping and originally planned to make this ride. Then we saw it listed on the club ride site and we thought, HEY, maybe others cannot make this ride in the middle of the week, so why not offer it again on a Saturday! We will be starting off at the parking lot off of 2nd Street in Bayview at 10:00 am. This lot, which is a couple of blocks from the park has free parking. We plan to pedal the Padilla Bay trail along the water and then on into Anacortes.  We will cross the water via the trail off of March Pt. Rd. Round trip approximately 25 miles. Depending on the group we may add another 4-5 miles by riding the perimeter of the Fidalgo Island gas terminals. "A" terrain with one bridge, social pace 10-12 mph.  We plan a couple of hours in town to sight see, and find a place to snack! We also plan several stops for water, etc. along the route. Steady rain will dampen the ride, but hey, we're tough! I know this is a total rip-off, but we will be doing the ride so why not join us! Ride leaders: Bob & Viv Biesiedzinski. Reach us at 206-595-3822 (Bob) or 206-595-3823 (Viv) (call or text).
