I will lead social pace but you can rider faster or slower and we will regroup at end.  We will ride the following trails:  Hiawatha 17 miles of down hill gravel through 10 unlighted tunnels (so bring at least 2 headlights and a tail light - I have some loaners).  Mountain, hybrid, or cross bike tires are best but mountain bikes can be rented.  It goes over 7 high bridges in the forest.  Trail of the Coeur d' Alenes 47.1 miles on good asphalt trail and the first 10 miles are a down hill roll. This is the most beautiful trail I have been on with a stepped bridge and ponds half covered with blooming lily pads.  Wild turkeys, deer, coyotes, and moose have been observed from this trail. East Spokane River Centennial 22 miles on level asphalt. Norpac  12 miles of downhill dirt with some gravel (exploration).  West Spokane Centennial 14 miles downhill asphalt. We will stay at the Coeur d' Alene LaQuinta which includes breakfast and has hot tub and heated pool.  AARP rates are single $99.18 and $108.19 two bed double occupancy + taxes.  Option is Super 8 with AARP single rate of $60 for single and two bed double occupancy for $70 + taxes.  Ride Leader Bill Lutterloh 360.668.9554, LutterlohB@GMail.com, cell phone days of rides 425.870.6418.  Let me know if interested by August 22 and if commited by September 3. If you have a tight schedule take a day off either end.

Schedule:  Saturday 13th:  Travel day to van pool, car pool, convoy to Coeur d' Alene, ID.  No bike rides.                                      Sunday 14th:  Hiawatha Trail.                                                                                                                       Monday 15th:  Trail of the Coeur d' Alenes.  Dinner at Snake Pit.                                                                                                     Tuesday 16th:  East Spokane River Centennial.                                                                                             Wednesday 17th: Norpac and/or North Idaho Centennial Trail.                                                                           Thursday 18th:  West Spokane Centennial Trail and travel home.
