    For those of you who knew RobinHjellen, a prayer warrior at our home church, MillCreekFourSquare and Cascade & BIKES Club of Snohomish County member.

    This is Doug, Robin's husband. I am very sorry to report that she suffered a ruptured aorta Friday evening and passed away a couple hours later. The EMTs and emergency room staff did everything they could. Needless to say, I am devastated and I cannot believe it. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary on Maui. I will fly home ASAP to be with family.

    I am so saddened to hear this news. Condolences to her family. I always enjoyed talking with Robin on rides. She was such an upbeat person . I am really stunned.

    Wow for someone who was fit, active and young (compared to me) this gives me pause for thought.  Yet I am reminded of the Hope she believed in that comforts so profoundly at a time like this.

    Shocking and so saddened to read about this.  I also enjoyed a number of bike rides and conversing with Robin about family, travels etc.  In addition I would see her at the Mill Creek  LA Fitness from time to time and we would chat to catch up etc.  Condolences to her family and friends.
