I already put myself on the list for Yakima and I'm interested in Bend.

I really like the idea of cycling in Germany and your routes and planning are pretty thorough and the routes look very accessible.

It looks like you're going to pack your own bike?  I could carry my gear or help SAG.

The room costs look very low?  Single or double?

I have to talk a bit more with my other half.  I did a very big trip year...

What's a cut-off date for planning?  Meet to discuss and put down $$ to commit?

Good questions Debby.  Meeting to discuss seems like a good idea.  I'll put something on the calendar.  As for some of the questions.

    - I would bring my own bike and store the case at the luggage facility at the Munich train station.  Something like $5 - $7 per day.

    - Room costs were single.  These were the actual costs I looked up when I was planning for this year.  Availability and costs may be different next year.  Most of these are Gasthauses or Landhotels.  The price and value are usually very good in southern Germany in the shoulder season.

    - It's probably a good idea to make reservations in advance for the few days before Ulm.  The options away from the river and path may be quite up hill.  From Ulm on there are a lot of options so may be able to book as we go.  (Like Joan and Glenn did).

    - Having shared SAG support may open the door for some others that are a bit concerned about no support.

    - There's no firm cutoff date.  I would like to sort out a go/no-go by February.  If it's a no-go for club members then there are other options I'd like time to explore.  Real booking would need to be done until July or August.
