Tour de PNW Phase 3: Columbia River - Idaho REVISED
Note: a phone call on 26 May 2023 to the ranger office for Lake Easton State Park and the Palouse to Cascades Trail State Park indicates the trail and Snoqualmie Tunnel are now bike rideable.
- Phase 2 of the Tour de PNW is now scheduled for June 4 - 8 starting at Mill Creek as previously planned, and end in Vantage instead of Beverly.
- A rest day of June 9th for those riders continuing with Phase 3.
- Phase 3 will start at Vantage on June 10th and continue the rest of the way as previously planned to Wallace, ID on June 15th.
Revision highlights:
- 1st day start location changed to Vantage where Phase 2 ends.
- 1st day will cross the Columbia River on the newly reconditioned Beverly Bridge.
- No change to existing Phase 3 lodging plans.
- The drive from home to Vantage and back to home is only for those who did not arrive in Vantage on their bike by riding Phase 2.
- A revised option 3 for Friday, June 16th: Join a separate ride to Wallace - Mullan - Lookout Pass (32 miles, 2,500 feet of gain round trip), then return home on Saturday.
