Hello,
You may have heard that the City of Everett is replacing Edgewater Bridge, which is the boundary bridge between The Cities of Mukilteo and Everett. This bridge is located on W Mukilteo Blvd, just west of Edgewater Park and Sound View Deli. The new bridge will include 12-foot wide travel lanes, 5-foot wide bicycle lanes and 6.5-foot wide sidewalks. The pedestrian bridge rail will also be 54” to provide for additional bicycle safety, if one chooses to ride on the sidewalk. Construction is expected to start late winter of 2022, with a full bridge closure starting after school is out in June. The full closure is expected to last approximately 9 months.
For more information please go to the project’s website: www.everettwa.gov/edgewater . At the website you can also sign up for news flash emails to have updated information emailed to you.
Thank you for your time,
