May is Bike Month: Bike to Work May 15

The best way to celebrate Bike Month is simply to get on a bike: ride to work, ride to the grocery store or just ride for the sheer joy of being outside soaking up the spring weather.

The Adobe Commute Challenge runs May 1 - May 31. Register your team, join a team or sign up solo at www.cascade.org/commutechallenge.

Bike to Work Day takes place on Friday, May 15. Commute stations are open from 6-9 a.m. with snacks, prizes and more. Commute Stations in Snohomish County will be in Edmonds waterfront, Lynnwood Transit Center, Everett Station, South Everett, Snohomish, Marysville, UW Bothell. For a full list, visit Community Transit. For stations throughout the region, see www.cascade.org/commute-stations.

For more information on Bike to Work Day and the Bike Month Challenge – including resources to inspire yourself and your co-workers - please visit www.cascade.org/bikemonth.

We also need members to promote the club and handout goodies at Everett Station, 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on May 15 (or at least 2 hours). Contact Everett Transit at dawnerickson@everettwa.gov and coordinate club materials with Kristin, president@bikesclub.org
