Mountain Biking

    Just wondering if there are any other members who like to Mountain Bike as well as road ride.  I spend most of my summer rides on a Mountain Bike (I'm an old Mt. Biker at heart, but alas, my days of 8 foot drops are behind me....) and spend most of it alone.  Are there any other members who would like to Mountain Bike once in a while?  I know Japanese Gulch very well and would love to guide/lead/join a group ride there occasionally and would happily accomadate any skill level.

    excellent, I'm going to try to gather info on what folks want to do.  Japanese Gulch is anything from easy to stupid so I need to plan routes that reflect skill levels.  Most of what I do would be considered moderate to some black diamond, but, the hard stuff all has walk arounds.  I'm out of town for a couple of weeks as well but will contact you.

    Peter - BIKES' insurance doesn't allow for mountain biking as a club event.  We occasionally do rides that include some gravel sections but not mountain bike routes such as Japanese Gulch.  I suggest you use the Members Forum to connect and then take your conversations offline.
