BIKES Club Members:
The link here is for the ACT First Aid & CPR Class provided by South County Fire of Snohomish County that was recommended during the Ride Incidents presentation at the Ride Leader’s Appreciation Brunch on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, and is available for all BIKES Club members.
This is a free one hour basic 1st aid class you can watch online via Zoom in the comfort of your home. You must register to receive the e-mail notification with the Zoom meeting link. The next presentation will be 11 AM – noon on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025. There are also other choices on the registration page.
This basic 1st aid class focuses on three skills you can use to save a life in the first few minutes of an emergency:
- Antidote (Narcan) for suspected opiate overdoses.
- CPR and AED training for cardiac arrest.
- Tourniquet for severe bleeding control.
This class is for the general public and includes topics of interest to bicyclists.
