Speak Up for Trails

This was copy/pasted from an e-mail from Rail to Trails Conservancy:

With new leadership in Washington, D.C., new priorities are being set and federal spending—including critical funding for trails, walking and biking—is under review. Your local, state and federal elected officials will weigh in on what gets funded, but they need to hear from you.

o   Tell your elected officials that trails are essential to you and your community: https://secure.railstotrails.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=1005

This form letter needs your info and your customized addition in the body.  I added a short paragraph about our growing population, increasingly crowded roads, and the value of trails for people to use to ease the traffic pressure on those roads.  Then hit "SEND MESSAGE" to send it to numerous elected politicians who are in positions of power and influence.
