Sammamish River Trail Closed in Bothell September 3-30, 2024
Detour Available
Repairs are taking place on the Sammamish River Trail from September 3-30, 2024, between Blyth Park and 102nd Ave NE. Work includes repairing pavement and installing root barrier. Up to eight cottonwood trees that are too close to the path and causing safety issues will also be removed. Three trees will be replanted for every tree removed based on local code in nearby areas bordering the trail.
From September 3-6, the trail will be closed from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. and reopened at the end of the day.
Starting September 9, the trail pavement will be removed and replaced, so the trail will need to be closed 24/7 until the pavement has been replaced (up to 3 weeks).
During the closure, the detour will be in effect along 102nd Ave NE and West Riverside Drive trail.
Please allow for extra time if you are commuting on the trail and follow all posted signage and directions from crews.
Thank you for your patience as we complete this important work!
