Here is an opportunity for us to make biking infrastructure improvement inputs for a connection that is long overdue.  This connection could be made on land already owned by Snohomish County in McCollum Park.  Only one response from me will likely be ignored, but if 50 or 100 or more of us respond similarly then it would gain attention and show the significance of the problem and the desired solution.

This link is from an e-mail from Roads at Snohomish County earlier today:

    Suggestions:

Question 15 regarding suggested improvements:  Provide a paved trail, separated from motor vehicle traffic, to connect McCollum Park to the Interurban Trail.

Question 18 regarding improving access and safety:  A narrow sidewalk along the south side of the busy 128th St SE is currently used by cyclists and pedestrians creating a serious safety hazard for multiple user types in close proximity to heavy motor vehicle traffic.

    Thanks,

    Rick
