Here's an opportunity to host an exchange student (17 year old girl from Republic of Georgia) who love to ride bikes! We received this email from Tony. If you'd like to find out more info, please contact Tony directly.
Hey folks -
My name is Tony Barnett and I'm a exchange program manager and coordinator for the PAX exchange program (www.pax.org) I'm writing to you about a pressing need for a host family in either the Marysville Pilchuck, Snohomish or Monroe HS service areas for a neat young lady from the Republic of Georgia who is into cycling - we had her placed but the family has had to back out due to a family emergency. Am wondering if you might share the below information to people in your club who might live in those areas? Think it would be very cool to have her with a family who cycles!
Easiest thing to do is to send on to a group email list that I've found -
PAX will donate 300 dollars to your program if a referral results in placement by July 31 .

Hosting involves opening your heart and home to a young person giving them a place to sleep (own room or shared room with an age appropriate student of the same gender) and feeding them and making them a part of your family while they are here. While there is no housing stipend available - these students come with their own spending money to cover all their incidentals and medical insurance. We provide great on the ground support and a fun enhancement activity program for our students who are here. We believe our program is one of the best to work with! Hosting can be a wonderful life changing experience - if you think you might be able to help call or text Tony at 206 407 8696 or email tonyb@pax.org
