    As of Feb. 23, our friends at the Skagit Bicycle Club report: "Thanks to the important contribution of SBC member donations and volunteer efforts, the Tommy Thompson Trail TRESTLE reconstruction was completed ahead of schedule and within budget, and was just OPENED TODAY for bike and pedestrian use. Cyclists can now resume using the TT Trail route as previously used for cycle ride routes."

    This is the trestle trail to Anacortes - aka as the gateway to Gere-a-Deli.

    That is the best news I've heard in a while, thanks for sharing that.  I'm amazed they got it open so quickly, I thought it would be another year or so.  Yay!
