    Note: This is not B.I.K.E.S Club Ride. Posting here for information for those cyclist who may be interested in Bicycle Touring. This is a great introduction to bicycling touring with short distances and beautiful scenery.

    Ride Description

    We will depart to Lopez Island via the Anacortes Washington San Juan Island Ferry Terminal. Attendees can opt to to drive onto the ferry to Lopez Island or park your car in the Anacortes Ferry parking lot and ride your bike onto the ferry. Attendees are encourage to ride their bikes onto the ferry since parking is limited at the campsite.

    Friday: Depending on your arrival time, take the ferry to Lopez Island. Depart the ferry and ride to Spencer Spit State Park, 521 A Bakerview Road, Lopez Island, WA. Camping at group Site G-1 reserved for the weekend.

    Saturday: Riders are free to ride around Lopez Island known as the most bicycle friendly island in the San Juan Islands. The more adventurous riders can take the inter island ferry to explore other islands in the San Juans. Camp at Spencer Spit State Park Site G-1.

    Sunday: Ride back to the ferry dock to catch a the ferry back to Anacortes.
