Columbia Gorge Explorer Tour
Self-Contained, Self Supported, Self Paced, 4 Day, 3 Night Bike Tour.
Starting in Vancouver /Portland, we will ride 2 days up the Columbia River on the Washington side and then ride downriver 2 days.
Memorial Weekend- Friday, May 27 thru Monday May 30.
This ride is being offered by the Portland Bicycling Club and the Vancouver Bicycle Club which do not require that you join in order to participate in their rides. The ride is capped at 50 and they currently have 32 riders registered. You must register by May 15. There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee that will cover the cost of the 3 campgrounds where we will be staying. Staying in Hotels at nearby towns is allowed.

I plan on spending the night in Vancouver/Portland before and after the ride and possibly extending my stay after the ride. Amtrak offers bus/train service from Everett/Seatle to Vancouver for $38 +$5 bike.
