Bike Everywhere Bicycle Bingo

    Since May is Bike Everywhere month you may need a few ride ideas. Try using this Bicycle Bingo card for this month. Fill it out as you go, display it proudly on your fridge, share it during the weekly Shift Zoom meetings, share pictures on FaceBook. I hope you have fun with it.

    A couple of questions.

    1) is this for the entire month of May? If so, can we use past rides that we have done so far this months?

    2) Are we to simply print the Bingo Card and report when we complete a row? Or is there a place to show/report it on the Love to Ride Challenge page?

    Yes, since it's for the month of May, use any rides that you've done this month. Print the card if you want, or perhaps you can mark it up virtually after you download it. 

    I don't think there's a way to display them on the Challenge page (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but sharing them via Facebook etc. could be fun. I'd think it will be fun to see what others have done, and to hopefully see their pictures.

    One addendum; Rick made the suggestion that the Bingo square that reads "Rode farther than I ever rode before" be changed to read ...farther than I have this year, a good idea for our spring efforts.

    I haven't played Bingo in a long time and forgot the rules. You have to fill in a row or diagonal, right? So close, but not quite doing that yet!

    This is definitely better as I would not be riding anywhere near the 120 I did in one day for STP 30 years ago!! However — I was actually thinking the “most miles I have ridden this MONTH” ;’-).

    Steve and all, I didn’t really adhere to the standard bingo card form so I’m doing like you, highlighting the squares as I go, see if I can fill them up as the month progresses.

    That really is a fun idea Dan.  Thanks for posting.  Since I'm still just getting back on my bike, I've had to do some bicycle mechanicing and maintenance ... which inspired some bicycle maintenance bingo.  Enjoy!

    Paul, your maintenance bingo is great! I could probably get a bingo on any given repair job.  Can you share it on our FB page?
