My name is Matt Smith, and I am the General Manager for The Independence Hotel, here in Independence, OR.  I came across your page today, while trying to find some groups around Oregon that may want to look at planning a cycling trip here in wine country.  Our hotel was built with the cyclist in mind, with the only bicycle work room that you can find in a hotel in Oregon.  The Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway sits directly in our backyard, and the town of Independence has just launched a new website called www.bikeindyoregon.com, with a ton of exceptional rides.
