Meet across from the Verlot Public Service Center, Mountain Loop Highway east of Granite Falls at 10:15 for a 10:30 start. Ride 19+ miles to the gate for Monte Cristo (at Barlow Pass) and return. Regroups as necessary. Stop on the return for lunch/snacks at the Big Four picnic area.  Approximately 40 miles, STEADY pace. Out and back on the paved highway; you can't get lost. Could be chilly and some fog. Headlights & taillights are a good idea.

Bring snacks, water, lunch. Charge all batteries ahead of time. No services. NO CELL SIGNAL. Bathrooms usually available at the start, others as we find them Foul weather/poor air quality will cancel this ride; check Ride Updates. Group size for this ride is set at 12.


Riders should be aware that though we try to pick quiet streets and roads, you will be sharing it with traffic. You should have the equipment to repair a flat on your bike. Steady rain/snow/excessive heat or smoke cancels. Check ride updates. 

Group size set at 12 including ride leader. Restroom stops depend upon availability of facilities. E bike riders are responsible for knowing the BIKES club E bike policy found on our website.
