The Plan: 

Day 1, Monday , August 31 - Travel day, tour a cheese factory, and plan a dinner get together

Tillamook, Oregon is the gateway to the coast. The town hosts two cheese factories for touring, many dining options. museums and nice loops for cycling. 

Day 2 - Tuesday , September 1st,   9:30am Three Capes Cycling Loop: 60 miles, 4700ft elevation gain - this loop can easily be shortened to two capes if you are not up for 60 miles. 

Pack a snack  for stops at lighthouse.

Day 3 - Wednesday, September 2nd, 9:30am - Tillamook - Nehalem Lollipop: what's a lollipop?? Out, a little loop, and back : )

56 miles,  2300 ft elevation gain 

The route also includes an out and back to Manzanita for lunch  and breath taking ocean view

Day 4 -  Thursday, September 3rd - 9:30am Bayocean Peninsula Hike, 7.5 mile hiking loop on the beach and Bayocean. The loop can easily be shortened by crossing over the middle.

Day 5  Friday, September 4th - many options:  gravel ride, tour the coastal towns or tour more museums or start the journey home:

Participants are responsible for their own lodging and meal reservations and expenses 

Due to the length of routes, riders should be prepared to ride on everything from busy highways to country roads with limited shoulders and varying pavement conditions.
