Wapato - Donald - Zillah - Toppenish - Wapato
Yakima Tour Steady Ride
We'll take 38 mile loop through the agricultural area on the east and west sides of the Yakima River. Total elevation gain is around 1000'. Both Ride With GPS and my legs tell me the max grade is around 5% (no 12% like last year's traffic avoidance hill).

Meet at 9:45 at the Wapato Community Center for a 10:00 roll out. Last time I was there (a while ago), there were bathrooms at the community center. If there is an event at the community center, there is street parking or a lot a couple of blocks east at the Wapato Sports Park.

As many of us found out last year, May weather can be unpredictable. It may be sunny. It may be rainy. It may be both. Please be sure to check the weather forecast and plan accordingly.
Zillah is about half way, so we have three options for lunch:
1. No lunch stop
2. El Ranchito (Where we had lunch last year. Great bike parking, slow, pricey, very good.)
3. Taqueria La Plazita (Not so good bike parking, less expensive, probably faster, on the Taco & Tamale trail map!)
If you have a preference, email me. I'm sure different people will prefer different options, so I'll see what input I get and make a decision so I can call ahead if necessary.

Disclaimers: E-bike welcome, please read and comply with the club e-bike policy. Bring snacks, enough to drink and the usual fix-it stuff, especially flat repair type fix-it stuff. I recommend the equivalent of two water bottles.
