Down By The Bay with Ms Viv
Come join the fun as we cruise on a social paced ride along the shore of Padilla Bay and the farm land in Beautiful Skagit County! We have spotted Trumpeter Swans in the valley lately! Meet at the Port of Skagit Nature Trails Trailhead at the corner of Higgins Airport Rd. and Ovenell Rd. at 10:15 for a brief safety refresher before a 10:30 roll out. We will be on county roads in the farmland of Skagit County.
A leisurely social paced ride of 27 miles with about 400 feet of elevation gain. This route will take us down the steepest sections of the route with gradual climbs back to our starting point. We plan to stop for a snack break at the Padilla Bay Interpretive Center. Lunch afterwards at Shawn O'Donnell's pending group approval.

There is a Sani-kan at the trailhead, another at the start of the Bayview Shore Trail and flushers at the Padilla Bay Interpretive Center (about mile 11).
Please bring a taillight for your bike and the necessary items to repair a flat tire, your bike, your helmet, a snack and a sense of adventure.
