McClinchy Planning Meeting

Our club's annual event ride and "fun" raiser is 6 months away - time to start planning!

Pizza at 6 p.m., planning meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Usual location - Everett PUD at 2320 California Street, Everett

After 40+ years, we've developed a good recipe for success for the McClinchy Camano Classic Century. But we need a few new ingredients for 2026. The focus of this meeting will be first and foremost our routes for 2026.

Camano Island 34 and 50 mile routes are solid - this is what attracts people to the event. What we need is a new-ish 50 mile route east of Stanwood to supplement our Camano routes.

We'll have the maps and RWGPS out to discuss ideas and plan test rides. We need a safe, pleasant route that won't have too much traffic on a Sunday afternoon.

In addition, we'll discuss:

• Rider incentives: what should we give to the first 200 registrants?
• Volunteer incentives / member benefits.
• Marketing Help: volunteers needed for winter work - online and in-person.
