Meet at the Verlot Information Center (park across the road)by 10:15 for a 10:30 start. NOTE: NO CELL SERVICE. Usually the bathrooms are open here.

Ride about 20 miles each way to Barlow Pass on paved road. B/C terrain, steady (12-13 mph) pace, scenery breaks enroute. Hopefully we’ll see colorful leaves. No map- one paved road. A few rustic Forest service toilets along the way.  The last five miles up to the pass are the steepest, bring an extra layer for the descent. We will regroup at the Ice Caves trailhead/picnic grounds on the return for snacks (bring your own). Since this is an out and back trip, you really can ride at your own pace-but again, no cell coverage here.

Riders should be aware that though we try to pick quiet streets and roads, you will be sharing it with traffic. You should have the equipment to repair a flat on your bike. Steady rain/snow/excessive heat or smoke cancels. Check ride updates.

Group size set at 12 including ride leader. Restroom stops depend upon availability of facilities. E bike riders are responsible for knowing the BIKES club E bike policy found on our website.
