Social Pace to Magnuson Park & Cafe Ride

Thursday, September 18th, 10:30 a.m.  Meet at Blyth Park at 10:15 for a 22 mile ride on the Burke Gilman Trail to Magnuson Park.  Lunch stop at the Magnuson Cafe near the Cascade Club building.  

This ride is (99%) trail, social pace (10-11 mph riding on the flats) low elevation.  Be aware that this trail can be busy at times, and there are a few sections with roots, although this has improved somewhat recently.  We'll do a loop out to the beach area of Magnuson Park and stop at the "Fin Project".  You should feel comfortable riding your bike in a group setting and be mindful of group riding etiquette.  To avoid a hill getting back onto the trail, we will be crossing Sand Point way to access the Burke on the way back.
