Register by 8 PM evening before the ride if you intend to go.  Group size limited to 8 club members including the Ride Leader.  

Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM roll out at Cascade TrailHead at Fruitdale Rd & SR 20 in Sedro-Wooley.

Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph), 55 miles, A & B terrain with about 1,100 feet of elevation gain.  Frequent regroups.  This route has about 50 miles of paved roads (mostly the chip & seal type) and about 5 miles of hard pack gravel.  I expect to ride my gravel bike.

Loop ride on some town streets, Skagit County country roads, and a few short sections of WA state Hwy 20.  Rest rooms are at the parks.  Planned stops at the Riverfront Park (mile 2), Lyman City Park (miles 12 & 46), Silo Park (mile 27), Rasar State Park for picnic lunch (mile 36), and North State Recreation Area (mile 53).  Bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch.

This route will have tight turns and sections with gravel trails and is intended for 2-wheel road or gravel bikes ridden by experienced bicyclists.
