Stanwood P&R – Bay View Metric Century @ 9 AM

Register by 8 PM evening before the ride. Group size limited to 8.
Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM rollout from Stanwood Park & Ride (at SW corner of I-5 & SR 532).
Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph). 63 miles, 1,600 feet of gain, A/B terrain.
Ride from Stanwood Park & Ride northerly on country roads, then west on SR 534 to Conway (~mile 12), then northerly on roads to Bay View State Park (~mile 32) where we'll eat the picnic lunches we brought, then south & east on different roads through Mt Vernon (~mile 44), then south to Conway ~mile 51), south for 2.2 miles on Pioneer Hwy, then country roads back to where we started. Bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch. Rest stops along the way as needed.

Note: This version of the route uses Pioneer Hwy going south from Conway during the return to avoid the Cedardale Rd closure due to bridge construction.
This route may have tight turns and short sections with narrow gravel paths and is intended for 2-wheel road or gravel bikes ridden by experienced bicyclists.
