Eastside Loop from Grass Lawn Park, Steady Pace

Let's meet at Grass Lawn Park, 7031 148th Ave NE, Redmond, WA at 9:45 am for a 10:00 start. A large parking lot off 148th Ave NE should have sufficient parking. Additional parking is available off NE 70th St. We'll meet at the restrooms (green building) in the center of the park. Water and restrooms available at the start.

We'll head west on the 520 trail to Medina, then head south through Bellevue to the I90 bridge. We'll ride back north through Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond. Our lunch stop is at Panera Bread in Bellevue (~mile 20), and a rest stop is at Bellevue Park (~mile 12).

The route is 32.6 miles with 1,817 ft elevation gain. Pace on the flats will be at the higher end of Steady (~14 mph), and we'll ride the hills at a pace commensurate with a Steady effort. We'll regroup at the top of major climbs, and occasionally at other times. Please bring a cue sheet or have the route loaded on your gps device in the event you find yourself falling far behind the group and need to ride on your own.
