Meet at the Verlot Information Center on the Mountain Loop Highway east of Granite Falls at 10:15 for a 10:30 start. Ride ~40 miles out and back on two lane paved low traffic road. Stop at Big Four Ice Caves trailhead for snacks/lunch that you packed. Steady pace; it’s a fairly easy climb until the last 5+ miles where it gets serious as you climb to the top. Since most people climb at their own pace you can really call this a ‘Bring your own Pace’ ride.

NOTE: no cell service in this area, no water or flush toilets past Verlot. Once we arrive at the start we won’t be able to receive your call if you are running late.

RWGPS Route map: no map - there’s only one paved road; stay on it.

Riders should be aware that though we try to pick quiet streets and roads, you will be sharing it with traffic. You should have the equipment to repair a flat on your bike. Steady rain/snow/excessive heat or smoke cancels. Check ride updates.

Group size set at 12 including ride leader. Restroom stops depend upon availability of facilities. E bike riders are responsible for knowing the BIKES club E bike policy found on our website.
