Extended Schwarzmiller Road Steady Ride

We'll head out along the Centennial trail, loop around in the country side for a bit, then head back to the Centennial trail via scenic Schwarzmiller road for a total of about 35 miles and 1000' of elevation gain.  Most of the elevation gain is the railroad grade of the Centennial trail from Snohomish through Lake Stevens and similar grade along 123rd Ave NE.  I'd call it mixed A & B terrain.  We'll return by going up the hill on 147th Ave NE at the end of Schwarzmiller road to avoid the terror ride down North Machias Road even though that means missing on the peaceful bit of Russell Road.  Pace will be nearer the top end of the steady 12-14mph range.

Bathrooms at the start.  We'll stop at Machias for a bathroom break.  Snack break is at Lochsloy fields at about mile 21.  Definitely a bring-your-own-snack type ride.  Water options are limited, so consider bringing a 2nd bottle.

Meet at the Snohomish Library parking lot at 9:45 AM for the safety briefing prior to a 10:00 AM roll out.
