Register by 8 PM evening before the ride if you intend to go. Group size limited to 8 club members including the Ride Leader.
Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph), 57 miles, A & B terrain with maybe 600 (six hundred) feet of elevation gain. Frequent regroups. This route has about 54 miles of paved roads and about 4 miles of hard pack gravel.
Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM roll out at Chuckanut Park & Ride, Burlington, I-5 exit 231. Chuckanut Park & Ride is easily seen to the right from the exit ramp.
Loop ride on some town streets, Skagit County country roads, a few short sections of WA state Hwys 20 and Old 99N. Rest rooms are at the parks. Planned stops at the Riverfront Park (mile 8), Lyman City Park (mile 18), Rasar State Park for picnic lunch (mile 29), Hamilton Boat Launch (mile 33), Northern State Recreation Area (mile 45), which is also the site of the old Northern State Hospital. We'll ride a couple miles on hard pack gravel trails. Bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch. Coffee stop at Starbucks (mile 56).

This route may have tight turns and short sections with narrow gravel paths and is intended for 2-wheel road or gravel bikes ridden by experienced bicyclists.
