Steady Ride to Jakob Two Trees in Issaquah from 60 Acres Park

Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 10 am. Tax Day will finally be behind us, and the weather looks very nice for a ride.

Let's meet at 60 Acres Park in the southeast parking lot off of NE 116th St. There are portable toilets, but no water at the start.

The base of the 520 Trail (in the original route) is closed this Wednesday! So instead we'll ride West Lake Sammamish Parkway to Issaquah, then on to Jakob Two Trees.  On our return we'll stop at Starbucks in Issaquah. We'll return via East Lake Sammamish Pkwy. Rest stops at Idylwood Park (mile ~6) and Marymoor (mile ~29). Our lunch/coffee stop will be at Starbucks in Issaquah Commons (~mile 19).

Pace will be Steady (12-14 mph on the flat). We'll regroup as needed to keep riders together.

Route is ~35 miles with less than 1,000 ft elevation gain, similar to: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46025752. Thanks to Mary H for the route.

Ride leader name & contact information: Dayle Iverson, 425-301-2922

Please check for any Ride Updates three hours in advance. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat just in case.
