Coupeville & Oak Harbor Mod Ride @ 9 AM

This is a scenic "coastal series" loop ride around a section of Whidbey Island on the last full day of summer 2024.

Register by 8 PM evening before the ride. Group size limited to 8. 

Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM rollout at Lion's Park, 500 block of NE Haller St in Coupeville on Whidbey Island.

Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph).  51 miles, 3,000 feet of gain, A/B/C terrain.  

Ride from Lion's Park along the Coupeville Wharf, around the edge of Penn Cove, Oak Harbor, Windjammer Park, Joseph Whidbey State Park, Libbey Park, Ebey's Landing, Fort Casey, Admiralty Head Lighthouse, Keystone, Rodena Beach, and more.  Bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch.  Rest stops along the way as needed.

This route may have tight turns and short sections with narrow gravel paths and is intended for 2-wheel road or gravel bikes ridden by experienced bicyclists.
