Mt Vernon - La Conner Steady Ride

This is a straightforward trip from Mount Vernon to La Conner along the dike roads and then back along Calhoun Road. The planned route is 29.5 miles and it's about as A terrain as you can get in this state - 255 feet of elevation gain, mostly from bridges.  The biggest hill is the bridge over the Skagit to Rexville.

Meet at 9:45 AM in the parking lot by the Skagit River Walk for a 10:00 AM roll out.  The bathroom at the start is usually open and there's another opportunity in La Conner.  There's also an ice cream stand in La Conner.  Just noting that.  After all, it might be a warm day.
