Social Pace ROLL to the TROLL

Tuesday, July 16th, 10:30 a.m. (rollout) @ Marymoor Park in Redmond

Meet at 10:15 for pre-ride intros at Marymoor Park in parking lot #K (near the restroom building and the baseball fields) Be sure to bring a $1 bill for parking.

This is a social pace (under 12 mph) 25 mile, minimal elevation route. The route is 95% on trail, however the section that goes through Issaquah will be on some roads with varying degrees of traffic with some complicated intersections through a busy section near Gilman Village.  You should feel comfortable riding and interacting with traffic in this area!  We will spend a bit of time with the Troll (Jakob Two Trees) and take photos, have a rest break.  Bathrooms available at the start and at the Senior Center near the Troll.

Re-groups as needed, but you should be able to maintain at least a 9 or 10 mph average in order to stay with the group.  Optional lunch in Redmond at Whole Foods near the end of the ride.

Worsening forecast or excessive heat/smoke/rain will cancel or postpone this ride.  Be sure to check ride updates before leaving.   It's likely to be a warm day, so be sure to bring plenty of water, and a light snack or two.
