Tuesday Steady Ride + Pickleball and Snacks

Stanwood Area Steady Ride at 10:00AM + Pickleball & Snacks

The weather on Tuesday (6/25 already!) looks good for a bike ride followed by some pickleball and snacks.

Meet on Tuesday 6/25 at 9:45AM at my house, 2 miles from the Stanwood Park & Ride, for a 10:00AM roll out.  Please register for the ride by 7:00PM on Monday evening.  I will send email with directions and instructions to registered riders after 7:00PM

We'll go at a mid-steady pace with regroups at the tops of hills.  The route is about 28 miles of B terrain on usually quiet back roads. Total elevation gain of 1,274 feet. The route map is: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46482430.

I'm not a pickleball player, but my wife is.  She just had the court tuned up, so for those that would like to hang out a bit after the ride there will be pickleball and snacks.  If you're not interested in pickleball, there will still be snacks.  You can bring your own pickleball paddle or we have some for people to use.  No bike shoes on the pickleball court!  If you want to play the only thing you need to bring is suitable footwear.  If you want snacks the only the you need to bring is you.

Group size is set at 12 including the ride leader.  Restroom stops at the beginning and end.  Bushes in the middle. E-Bike riders are responsible for knowing and complying with the BIKES club e-bike policy (on the website).  Bring the usual stuff for the ride - flat repair equipment, mid-ride snacks and beverages, etc.
