North Bend to Snoqualmie Pass

Sunday June 9th

 Trail parking @Ballarat & NE 4th in North Bend, WA.   10:00 AM

Ride to Snoqualmie Pass and through Tunnel to Hyak.  Low steady/high social pace uphill  (long, gradual, and scenic) for first 28 miles and faster on the return downhill.   Ride is mostly on Snoqualmie Valley and Palouse to Cascades crushed gravel surface trail suitable for bikes with minimum 32C tires.  Numerous stops for short rest breaks.   Typically, there is water at Hyak - but request you bring minimum of 2 full bottles/food.  BRING LIGHTS - Tunnel is 2 miles long.   Be prepared and ready for a long ride and good times.   Note: We will join Lou's ride to the pass in North Bend at Mile 15 and ride as a group to Hyak. 

 ~58 miles - Low steady-it's gravel.  ~2500’ feet elevation gain. Route something like:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46949295.   NOTE: the elevation profile is incorrect- we will be going through the tunnel, so only 2500’ elevation, not 3900’.
Usual club E bike policy applies. Bring equipment for flat repair, snacks, water, sunscreen.
