Volunteer to help mark the routes for the McClinchy Camano Classic Century.

Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Stanwood's Heritage Park, 9600 276th Street NW. Restrooms available. The two key routes we will mark are 35 miles each. Both routes are hilly terrain - C.

Steady pace in between lots of stopping. This ride will take extra long. Bring snacks.

Tasks include carrying cans of paint, checking the RideWithGPS cues, painting the markings (wear old shoes and gloves), and moral support.

Weather dependent: Roads must be dry and stay dry for the paint. Three dates are scheduled: Tuesday April 16,  Thursday, April 18 and Sunday, April 21.

Route painting counts as volunteer hours for McClinchy - you can ride the event for free if you help.
