Stanwood P&R – Conway – Sunday Lake Mod Ride

Register by 8 PM evening before the ride. Group size limited to 8. 

Lets meet at 9:45 AM for a 10:00 AM rollout.  Moderate (14 – 16 mph) pace expected, with regroups at the hills.  It is 30 miles, 1,400 feet of gain, A/B terrain.  There will be a safety briefing at the start.  There is a gas station and convenience store that has a bathroom if needed.

This is a mentored ride.

We will ride from Stanwood I-5 Park & Ride mostly northerly on country roads, then west on SR 534 to Conway 76 (mile 17) for a quick coffee/snack stop, then south on more beautiful country roads to Sunday Lake.  This route completely avoids Pioneer Hwy.  There are some great punchy and rolling hills throughout, coffee and treat halfway, and a beautiful lake towards the finish!  What more could you ask for to end the week  :)

This route may have tight turns and short sections with narrow gravel paths and is intended for 2-wheel road or gravel bikes ridden by experienced bicyclists.
