Verlot-Barlow Pass moderate

Friday Friluftsliv Ride (sure, look it up ; )

Meet across from the Verlot Public Service Center, Mountain Loop Highway east of Granite Falls at 10:15 for a 10:30 start. Ride 19+ miles to the gate for Monte Cristo (at Barlow Pass) and return. Regroups as necessary. Stop on the return for lunch/snacks, hopefully at the Big 4 picnic area. Approximately 40 miles, low moderate (14,15mph) pace. Out and back on the paved highway; you can't get lost.

Bring snacks, water, lunch. No services. Bathrooms usually available at the start, others as we find them. Bring a jacket or other layer for the descent. It's likely to feel cooler and more damp on this ride than at home.
