Kirkland to Lake Sammamish State Park, Steady Pace

Thursday, October 5, 2023, 10 am.

We'll meet at Heritage Park at 9:45 am for a 10 am start. Heritage Park has 4 hour parking, but Waverly Way has time-unlimited parking. There are no restrooms at the start, so we'll ride a short distance to Marina Park for a quick restroom stop. We'll then ride to Lake Sammamish State Park via the 520 trail, Microsoft campus, and Lake Hills. We'll have a lunch break at Lake Sammamish State Park (~mile 16). Be sure to bring your own food and sufficient water as the concession stand closed for the season on September 30th. We'll return to Heritage Park via East Lake Sammamish Parkway, Marymoor, and Rose Hill. We'll stop at Marymoor (~mile 30) on the way back for a restroom break.

The ride is 36.5 mile, 1688 ft elevation gain. This is a stay together ride. There are two major hills, but we'll take them at our own speed and regroup along the way and at the top.
