I'm thinking a jalapeno and cheese tamale sounds tasty.  Mmmmm ... time for a tamale run!  Anyone care to join me?

This tamale run will leave at 10:15 AM from Bothell Landing and cover ~31 miles of A/B terrain at a steady pace.  Plan to meet by the bridge over the cut around 10:00 AM for the 10:15 AM roll out.

We will leave Bothell landing and head through Kenmore then down the Burke Gilman trail most of the way to the UW campus before heading through Ravenna Park to Frelard Tamales near Greenlake.

Frelard Tamales does not have a dining room. It's a walk up hole in the wall where you order at the door.  They do have tamale options that include vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free.  We'll plan to head to Green Lake to find a table (or a baseball dugout?) for a less-than-formal dining experience.  Be prepared to walk or ride a few blocks with very hot tamales in a takeout container.  I find it handy to bring my own fork.

I am not comfortable leading a large group through Seattle so I have limited the group size to 10 including the ride leader.  If someone volunteers to sweep, then I don't mind expanding the group size.  Please text or email if you are willing to sweep.
